Salary Survey: As an expert in the legal recruitment sector, Alas Agisa is in the privileged position of being able to provide our clients with the most accurate salary figures based on authentic data obtained from the abundant placements we make annually. Our salary survey is a key tool specifically designed for our clients in order to assist them make well-informed decisions when employing new staff. In addition, the salary survey allows clients to manage their current employees' compensation structure so that it is line with industry standards.

  2. Background Checks: According to Kroll (South Africa's leading background checking company) a whopping 25% of South African job applicants are dishonest about at least one aspect of their CVs, and 18% of local job seekers lie about their qualifications. It is with this in mind that Alas Agisa undertakes to do full a background check on all of our candidates (without exception).

  3. DISCUS Assessment: Most recruitment agencies only do DISCUS Personality Profile Tests upon request. Alas Agisa, however puts all our candidates through this assessment as part of the preliminary screening process. The answers are processed and summarized on the candidates CV's which in turn allows our clients to select a suitable shortlist based on a candidate's personality in addition to their qualifications, skills and experience.

Thorough screening of applications to closely match the job spec requirements (including relevant qualifications, skills, experience, behavourial competencies etc.)

We generate a free comprehensive CV and are always ready to assist candidates who need advice / assistance in compiling a resumé.

All of our candidates complete a Discus Personality Profile Test, highlighting the candidates strengths, weaknesses, advantages they bring to the working environment etc. Their answers are processed and summarized on their CV's. This assists clients in selecting a suitable shortlist from candidate's individual characteristics in addition to their qualifications and experience.

Annually, we compile our Salary Survey which is a detailed representation of market related salaries for legal professionals within many different industry types. Our survey is accessible to all our candidates and clients for their review.

We conduct comprehensive working references on our candidates.

In addition to the reference checks, we have partnered with MIE and conduct full integrity checks on our candidates, verifying their credit, criminal, qualifications, membership status and ID validation.

Our Legal Secretaries are subjected to a typing test, confirming their typing speed and accuracy .
